Packaging
Packing materials are debatebly the most important part of our process. We rely simple and effective packaging techniques to ensure your items arrive safely in perfect conditions.
Costs
Shipping costs are calculated based primarily on package weight. For larger orders, we do our best to consolidate the number of packages shipped. Some purchases require mnutiple boxed packages to ensure the safe delivery of your items.
Methods
We ship nationally within the United States via UPS. Shipments generally arrive wihtin 2-10 business days depending on shipping location. At this time we are unable to offer interational shipping. For more infortion on international shipping, please contact us.
Quality & Craftsmanship
We pride ourselves on our outstanding craftmanship and attention to detail. Each piece is hand crafted by our team at MIKE Mentz Glass Co. Slight variances in color, shape, and size can occurr, and are not considered flaws, but signifiers of the handmade nature of glass. Prior to shipping, we carefully inspect each piece to ensure it is free of defects. If you feel that you have recieved a defective item, please email us right away so we can diagnose the issue and take action to rectify it.
Order CANCELATION
If you wish to cancel your order, please do so within 24 hours of your purchase. Order changes or cancellations cannot be made once the item is created or shipped.
DAMAGED ITEMS
Contact us as soon as possible if your item(s) arrive damaged during transit. We will happily replace any item(s) damaged in shipping free of charge. Please email us a description of the damage as well as documented images of the damage in order to recieve replacement item(s) free of charge.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
We at Mike Mentz Glass Co. are committed to providing hgih quality, handmade items that will last a lifetime.
Refunds are avaliable upon the return of your purchased order in full. Standard stock items are avaliable for refund, while custom objects, sale items, and second quality items are not.
Refunds will not be avaliable for shipping costs.
All returned items must be returned in its original condition.
All return requests must be prompted within the first 7 days following the receipt of goods.
The buyer is responsible for costs on return shipping. Contact us for returns & exchanges.
DURABILITY
We design our handblown glass with longevity in mind. Our glass is intended to be used daily and last a lifetime. Each item fro our shop is designed and created with these principles in mind to ensure you recieve items that will integrate into your everyday life.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Handblown glass can be incredibly durable, but can become weak when introduced to extreme temperatures. For this reason, never place your glass items in the oven or pour boiling liquid into your itmes.
We reccomend handwashing our glass items, although our handblown glass can be washed in a dishwasher. Keep in mind that loosely loaded items that clank or rub against one another are SUSCEPTIBLE to damage.
For larger/decorative items, we reccomend cleaning by hand with soap & water or glass cleaner.
REPAIRS
We do not offer free repairs on items that have broken or have been damaged through general use. We also do not offer repairs on works that have not been created by Mike Mentz Glass Co. For replacement glass items and/or parts, please contact us with detailed explanations of your interests.
